A nerdy college student is pressured to help a jock write love letters to the campus beauty, even though the nerd is in love with her himself. Francis is a weak, meek, bleak wimp. The boys of Bi Beta Kappa are out to make a man out of this mouse and to help him get the girl of his almost impossible dreams. It's a modern-day Cyrano-with-a-slide-rule situation as he is tricked into helping his simpleton jock roommate get the girl of his own desires.
